Medical software business Practice Velocity, which employs 220 people, opened its $8 million, 63,000-square-foot office in the former Kohl’s space of Machesney Park Mall in November 2014. Practice Velocity serves more than 2,000 physicians in more than 1,000 urgent care centers across the nation.
