ServiCom celebrates opening, jobs at Rockford call center

ROCKFORD, June 29 — ServiCom LLC, a provider of call center technology outsourcing services, today hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony at its newest location, 175 Executive Parkway.

The business is expected to add an additional 300 jobs to the Rockford location and 200 jobs at the Machesney Park Center in the next 12 months, with additional positions added over the course of the next several years.

ServiCom’s Rockford location is in the former K’s Merchandise, which sat dormant for a number of years. ServiCom CEO David Jefferson sees the move as being well-aligned with the ServiCom philosophy.

“We are dedicated to creating opportunities – opportunities for people to find growth in fulfilling positions with our company, opportunities for buildings to find new purpose, and opportunities to drive economic development,” said Jefferson. “This ribbon cutting is not the celebration of the beginning of a partnership with Rockford, but a continuation of a long-standing and ongoing relationship.”

ServiCom worked with local developer First Midwest Group to identify and ultimately secure the new call center location.
