AAR’s Expanded Partnership with RVC Enhances Aviation Maintenance Instruction and Students’ Career Prospects
The new AAR EAGLE Career Pathway Program at Rock Valley will expand the college’s aviation maintenance technology curriculum to include job shadowing, mentoring opportunities, academic support and monitoring, as well as up to $15,000 in tuition reimbursements.
This event celebrates those who proudly stand behind our goods and services and provides awareness of manufacturing opportunities to the future workforce.
Deadline Approaching for Air Force Pitch Day Submissions
Start-ups and small businesses have until Feb. 6 to send their pitches to the Air Force. Select pitches will be sent to NYC for an expo with DoD officials and commercial partners for an award of $158,000.

ABOUT THE RAEDC The role of the Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) is to collaborate with regional stakeholders to cultivate opportunities for primary job growth that increase the economic well-being of our region. The RAEDC markets the region to attract new capital investment, while assisting existing business with resources for sustainable growth. The RAEDC works closely with many partners to improve the competitiveness of the region by taking what it learns from the region’s employers and engaging the community in the daily work of economic development. As the economic development organization for the region, the RAEDC also serves as the area’s data collection agency on all new capital investment, retained and created quality jobs, and renovated commercial/industrial space.
