The Rockford Area Economic Development Council has been working with The Workforce Connection and other regional partners to reduce the impact that the impending closure of the Stellantis Belvidere Assembly plant will have on our community.
While Stellantis and union leaders work directly with Stellantis employees on transfer and relocation options, The Workforce Connection has created a portal to give local companies a platform to share their employment opportunities with these displaced workers.
