Senator Syverson, Assistant Senate Republican Leader, serves as the ranking member on the Senate Health and Human Services Committee and the Senate Appropriations Committee. In addition, he serves on the Illinois Economic and Government Forecasting Commission. Over the last 20 years, Senator Syverson has focused his efforts on improving Illinois\’ jobs and business climate, understanding that it is this foundation on which a State is built.
