City of Rockford

The City of Rockford is the municipal entity that governs our community & works with other regional governments to maintain the quality of life of our citizens. The City of Rockford is responsible for City services such as water, garbage collection, snow removal, infrastructure repairs & maintenance as well as many other types of service requests, police & fire safety services, human services assistance, community & economic development, job creation & also accounts for all municipal financial resources and applies such resources in a manner that is most beneficial to the citizens of Rockford.
