The RAEDC’s Position on Home Rule
Our Board of Directors confirms their support of the organization’s Public Policy Priorities, “The RAEDC participates and supports decisions of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce’s Government Affairs Committee when decisions are related to economic development.” Based on the continued economic viability of our community, the RAEDC supports the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee decision to support Home Rule.

IMA Announces ETIP Grant
The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association announces the receipt of an Employer Training Investment Program grant (ETIP) for fiscal year 2018 through the Illinois Department of Commerce. Due to the mid-year release of these funds the deadline to qualify for reimbursement is quickly approaching.

CFNIL Releases Fall Grants Report
During the fall 2017 grant cycle, the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois (CFNIL) awarded 79 grants, committing up to $1,948,320, over the next three years to support nonprofit organizations in the region. This grant cycle continues a six-and-a-half decade old tradition of investing in Northern Illinois.
