RAEDC, Rockford Chamber Partner on Webinar to Help Businesses in Government Processes

The Rockford Area Economic Development Council and Rockford Chamber of Commerce are hosting a webinar workshop intended to help businesses understand the processes of government procurement and contracting.

The online workshop will take place from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on July 12. During the workshop representatives from Apex Accelerators (formerly the Procurement Technical Assistance Center PTAC) will introduce companies to the basics of government contracting.

Topics include Apex Accelerators’ free bid lead/bid matching system, how to register as a vendor at all governmental levels, (SAM, IPG, etc.), capability statements and how to use them to market to the government, and how to discover small business certifications that can help you succeed. The workshop will cover different subcontracting opportunities as well.
