National Engineers Week is February 19-25, 2023. Discover Engineering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25. The event introduces children to the world of engineering and spark an interest in the field using hands-on activities, demonstrations, and visual aids.
The Discovery Center brings engineering to life for children and families by engaging your brain and conquering fun challenges, meeting high school robotics teams, enjoying special science demonstrations, and more on this STEM-tastic day!
Discover Engineering is included with museum admission: $10 Public, FREE for Museum Members and all children ages 1 and younger. The event is sponsored by the Illinois Society of Professional Engineers – Rockford Chapter.
