The Rockford Area Economic Development Council (RAEDC) Board of Directors welcomes Wendy Kasche, Vice President of Finance at Hard Rock Casino Rockford and Dan Giovannetti, President & CEO at Bergstrom Corporation. These appointments were approved at the Board of Directors meeting held August 11, 2022.

Dan and Wendy will each serve three-year terms and bring considerable experience to the Board of Directors that will continue to support the daily work of economic development and increase the economic well-being of our region.
Wendy has a history rich with experience involving tertiary education, community organizations, and 19 years in finance with different casino and hospitality companies. “As a member of RAEDC’s Board of Directors I will be able to utilize my career experience to forge connections between educational institutions and regional businesses, ensuring we have the skilled workforce needed for jobs that are good today, tomorrow, and in the future,” states Wendy Kasche.

Dan’s diverse background in finance, continuous improvement & operations within a global manufacturing company will help the Board of Directors with insight and understanding of regional, national, and international markets. “I am looking forward to using my background to assist RAEDC in identifying issues, creating plans, and implementing solutions that will support the economic development of our region,” says Dan Giovannetti.
