That is what the Rockford Area Economic Development Council does. We adjust.
Striving to make our community better is ongoing and can only be achieved through collaboration.
We continue to conduct the daily work of economic development by helping businesses find solutions to problems that allow them to continue being successful and expand while remaining in our region. We are also working with brokers, site selectors, and real estate professionals to attract companies into our region.
To give back to our community we started ED Talks, webinars focused on leadership and business development each month. We also created Your EDC; Moving Our Region Forward; it explains what the RAEDC does and how it affects the community’s quality of life, businesses, and the people in our community.
Earlier this year we helped connect smaller companies with hard to find personal protective equipment and we found a way to host matchmaking sessions during MAC2020.
