RAEDC Aggregates PPE Orders for Business Community

On behalf of the community, the RAEDC is aggregating Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) orders. This allows small and medium-sized companies the ability to obtain access to the required PPE at an affordable price. Large companies can also order through us.

We are passing our cost on to the community to fill a much-needed gap. Aggregated orders will be placed on Wednesday, May 6th, at 5:00 pm and again on Monday, May 11th at 5:00 pm. We will continue aggregating orders twice per week as demand requires.

“We are happy to offer this type of service and support to our community during this uncertain time. This combined effort demonstrates that our region is driven to ensure everyone is successful and the RAEDC continues to connect the dots in meaningful ways,” states Nathan Bryant, President & CEO of the RAEDC.

This is an effort to ensure business are able to comply with the May 1st Executive Order from Governor Pritzker requiring any individual over the age of two (2) and able to medically tolerate a face-covering to wear one when in an outdoor public place and unable to maintain a six-foot social distance. Face coverings are also required in public indoor spaces and workplaces.

Orders will arrive at a distribution center in Rockford approximately 7 days following aggregated order submission. Orders are to be picked up from the distribution center by the company.

Business may purchase PPE at RockfordIL.com.
