Swedish Business Delegation from Mogensen in the County of Skaraborg, coming to Rockford and Belvidere to explore business opportunities


This week for two days, a Swedish business delegation from Mogensen, will be in the Rockford area to explore business opportunities. Mogensen designs and manufactures screening equipment for industries worldwide. They are a part of the Allgaier Group, internationally active in the screening and process technology markets and experience with more than 400 different types of material in various industries.

Mogensen is located in the City of Hjo in the County of Skaraborg, Sweden. Mogensen has a business partner in Ohio, where the delegation has been for the past week. Learning about the Industrial Partnership in place between the County of Skaraborg and the Rockford area, led to the delegation deciding to make a visit to this area. The delegation consist of Magnus Selholm, CEO and Jonas Jonasson, Sales Director of Mogensen.

The delegation will be meeting with the Supply Chain Manager at Viking Chemicals; Nathan Bryant, president & CEO and Jarid Funderburg, VP of business & investor relations from the Rockford Area Economic Development Council; City of Belvidere´s Mayor and the Executive Director from Growth Dimensions.

The ultimate goal for the delegation is to gain intel and business connections to form an international partnership with an agent or a business that work with turnkey soultions, with  focus on the agriculture material sector of their business.

The program is coordinated and led by Linnea Bengtsson, International Business Developer, City of Lidköping & County of Skaraborg. The Industrial Partnership Agreement, orginally signed in 2006, between the two regions, aim to grow locally by working globally.
