The Rockford Area Aerospace Network (RAAN) is hosting the 3rd annual Aerospace Symposium. Focusing on Innovation speakers will discuss disruptive technology, hybrid electric airplanes, additive manufacturing in the construction of aircraft, and advanced materials; all of which are making a big impact on aerospace.
“RAAN is proud to welcome Boeing as a presenter to discuss how disruptive technology and venture capital are changing the game when it comes to aerospace. Zunum Aero will speak about future-proofing hybrid electric aircraft. Electro Optical Systems, Stratasys, CATI, and 3D Platform will discuss the innovation happening with additive metals and manufacturing. Which will also include the incorporation of 3D printed fly-away parts, and high-performance printing with CNC quality repeatability,” shares Khoi Vu, Chair of the Rockford Area Aerospace Network (RAAN)
In addition to Innovation GE Aviation, UTC Aerospace, and Woodward, Inc. will provide interested companies with information related to becoming a supplier to Tier-1 companies.
