The Rockford Area Economic Development Council’s Business Attraction (BA) team of Dennis McCarthy, Director of National Business Development and Kaela Gardner, Business Attraction Coordinator extended the awareness of the Rockford Region during the Chicago Industrial Property’s Development Day 2016 which produced multiple leads for the area.
RAEDC was a sponsor of the event further increasing the awareness of the Rockford Region to the more than 150 attendees.
The event was held on July 21st in Elk Grove Village. The BA team was able to connect with industrial developers, owners, brokers, municipalities, and contractors networking and showcasing their products, services, and industrial properties for sale and lease.
Sponsoring and attending an event such as this allows for the promotion of Your Opportunity Region, cultivating opportunities for primary job growth and increasing capital investment in the area as part of the Rockforward20/20 strategic plan.
