Rock Valley College Career Services, Advising, and Placement is interested in collaborating with local employers to increase internship opportunities for students in a variety of areas.
Employers can benefit from mentoring a student by offering real-world learning experience while gaining a return on investment in several ways. Employers are able to guide and gauge the talent of prospective employees, increase productivity (whether a small or a large organization), and give back to the community by retaining qualified graduates.
In recent years, several Boone and Winnebago county employers have successfully partnered with RVC by providing internship opportunities.
