April President’s Newsletter: Growth is all around us this spring

ROCKFORD, May 5 — The Rockford Area Economic Development Council has released the April President’s Newsletter to share important numbers/trends, project updates, RAEDC news and positive headlines you might have missed.

The Rockford Region’s momentum was highly visible in April, with signs of expansion in various stages.

The positive outlook on expansion also headlined the 2014 Voice of the Customer report released last week. Almost one-third of businesses plan to expand in the next three years, according to the RAEDC’s annual VOC business climate survey. This is significant because the Rockford Region is coming off three years of aggressive growth and historic wins.
