BELVIDERE, Apr. 3 — Ceroni Piping Co. plans to build a $5.5 million facility on 22.5 acres of land right off U.S. 20 and I-90 in Cherry Valley. The company wants to build a larger facility now that it has outgrown the space it leases at 1372 Ipsen Road in Belvidere.

Rockford Register Star reports that Ceroni Piping Co. is the second-largest contractor in northwest Illinois between Belvidere and the Mississippi River; hiring about 45 union members for field work each year.
