Alignment Rockford welcomes new staff, moves to new office

ROCKFORD, Feb. 10 — Alignment Rockford celebrates two new hires and a new location with an open house later this month.

Monica Williams, who started Feb. 9, is the Alignment Team Coordinator. She has a bachelor’s degree in information systems and has previously worked as the Director of Career Services for Rockford Career College. Her primary responsibilities at Alignment Rockford will include managing and facilitating the work of community-wide teams composed of representatives of Rockford Public Schools, non-profit community-based organizations, government agencies, and colleges and universities.

Katy Haun, starting Feb. 23, will be the Community Engagement Coordinator. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications and is working on a master’s degree in school counseling.  Previously she was the Reference Laboratory Outreach Sales and Marketing Associate at SwedishAmerican Health System. With Alignment Rockford, she will be responsible for outreach and community engagement and coordinating communications and public relations tools and resources.

The organization has moved to 815 N. Church Street, Suite 201, in downtown Rockford. There will be an open house from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Feb. 17.
