Rockford Toolcraft, Inc. earns recognition as a John Deere ‘Partner-Level Supplier’

ROCKFORD – Rockford Toolcraft, Inc. announced this month that the company has earned recognition as a Partner-Level Supplier for 2014 in the John Deere Achieving Excellence Program. The Partner-Level status is Deere and Company’s highest supplier rating. This marks the fourth time the company has been selected for this honor in recognition of its dedication to providing outstanding quality and its commitment to continuous improvement.

Rockford Toolcraft, Inc. is a supplier of Dies, Metal Stampings and Assemblies to eight John Deere facilities in the agriculture, lawn & garden and construction equipment divisions. Suppliers who participate in the Achieving Excellence program are evaluated annually in several key performance categories, including quality, cost management, delivery, technical support and wavelength, which is a measure of responsiveness. John Deere Supply Management created the program in 1991 to provide a supplier evaluation and feedback process that promotes continuous improvement.

Rockford Toolcraft, Inc. is the industry leader in heavy gauge stampings and high quality metal stamping dies. They employ over 350 employees within their two plants in the Rockford Region. In 2013 they expanded into a 48,000 sq. ft. building to accommodate more state-of-the-art machines in their inventory.
