Komax Systems, a manufacturer of automated assembly systems, is moving into a Loves Park business park under construction along Interstate 90. According to a Rockford Register Star story, Wisconsin was in the running for the company’s new location, but Komax Systems President Eugene Haffely Jr. said he couldn’t move across state lines. “I felt a loyalty to keep the business in Winnebago County.” According to a WREX report, Haffely says he plans to hire 25 engineers and technicians by the end of next year at the new Spring Creek Development site. The Rockford location is at 1321 Capital Drive.
