The Rockford Register Star wrote an overview about the new construction of a 110,580-square-foot multi-tenant industrial building near Aviators Stadium, Sportscore Two, Rock Cut State Park and the YMCA branch in Loves Park. According to the Nov. 12 story, “developers of the Business Park at Spring Creek Lakes envision a park with numerous paths to the local attractions. On-site manufacturing employees making an average of $50,000 a year could easily work out during their lunch hour or cap off the work day by watching their children play soccer at Sportscore Two. The RAEDC’s Mark Podemski, vice president for development, was cited as saying the 460-acre site along Interstate 90 will be similar to newer business parks, specifically the Rock 39 industrial park in Cherry Valley along Interstate 39, and Park 90 Corporate Center in Machesney Park near Interstate 90 and Illinois 173.
