ROCKFORD, Nov. 13 — Hundreds turned out for a standing-room-only Rock Valley College and AAR Corp. open house to learn about aviation maintenance careers, according to a WIFR report. The college’s Director of Improvement, Melvin Allen, told the TV station that they’re hoping the program will act as a pipeline to 500+ jobs for AAR’s upcoming MRO (jet repair) operation.
