The Rockford Register Star took a look at the investments being made at Rock Valley College and there are some big numbers involved. Between the new Health Sciences Center and the remodel of Classroom Building I there is a financial investment of $55 million. This investment in education will have a ripple effect throughout the region as we will have an educated workforce capable of driving our industry clusters.
By this time next year Rock Valley College will be celebrating a grand opening and reopening of two major buildings on its main campus.
“We’ve tried to put money into everything that the community has been asking for,” said Rock Valley College Board President Patrick Murphy. “Every program that we’ve put money into, we’ve seen enrollment increases. Everything we’ve been doing has been focused on driving enrollment growth.”
