ROCKFORD, July 8 — The Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) offers an OSHA 10-hour outreach training program that covers common safety and health hazards in the workplace. The program promotes management leadership in safety and health initiatives in order to:
* Establish a safety and health policy with specific goals and objectives * Increase worker protection, enhance productive, and improve employee morale * Realize significant cost savings on operations, equipment repair, and training * Reduce production delays and lower insurance rates
